Bandichhod Diwas at El Sobrante Gurdwara Sahib, Nov 13th 2012

In remembrance of the Bandi Chhod diwas, special diwan is being held at Gurdwara Sahib on November 13th 2012. Beginning with Rehras Sahib, there will be Kirtan performed by Hazoori Ragis of Gurdwara Sahib. Dhadi vaars and Guru Ithas will be presented to the Sadh Sangat by the renowned jatha of “Nabhe Waliyan Beebian”.

Any member of Sangat interested in bringing candles to the Gurdwara Sahib can do so and the tables will be made available in the lobby. Volunteer Sewadars will also be there to assist the Sangat.

On Sunday, Aug.19th 2012, Sadh Sangat at El Sobrante Sikh Center will honor those who lost their lives in Wisconsin.

Aarambh of Sri Akhand Path Sahib – Friday morning 10.30 am and Bhog Sri Akhand Path Sahib will take place on sunday mornig (8-19-12) for Souls of Wisconsin Gurdwara Tragedy. This event is open to all communities.

With apaar kirpa of Guru Sahib there will be a Youth Kirtan Darbar at El Sobrante Gurughar this Saturday, the 18th. The program will be from 6pm-10pm. Rehraas Sahib will be from 6-6:30pm, Kirtan will be from 6:30 onwards. Kirpa kar kay, jaroor darshan baksho ji!

It gives us immense pleasure to announce to Sangat that this year’s Guru Arjun Dev Ji’s 407th martyrdom anniversary’s Peach March will be held in Berkeley, CA on Sunday, June 03rd 2012.The Peace March will begin as usual from Berkeley Community Theatre Park at 10:00am and follow the set route to conclude back at same spot around 4:00pm.
